The Towsontown Spring Festival, which began as an art show, celebrates Baltimore with great entertainment and scrumptious food. More than 250,000 residents and visitors attend this annual two-day event.

For a different kind of diversion, residents can spend the day at Towson Town Center. The large indoor shopping mall is anchored by Nordstrom and Macy’s and offers a multitude of upscale retails and specialty shops. Golfers with access to the Country Club of Maryland enjoy an 18-hole course designed by Herbert Strong. For hikers and cyclists, Robert E. Lee Park, which is owned by Baltimore City, surrounds Lake Roland and maintains nice trails suitable for every skill level. Loch Raven Reservoir encourages lots of family fun. Not only does this lake provide drinking water for most of Baltimore County, the man-made reservoir serves as a park and recreational area with hiking, picnicking, fishing and boating.
